Bugs Bunny - Any Bonds Today? - Warner Bros. & U.S. Treasury Dept. Defense Savings Staff
The 90-second cartoon, commissioned by the Treasury and now in the public domain, was designed to encourage movie theater audiences to buy defense bonds and stamps. Its title card identifies it as Leon Schlesinger Presents Bugs Bunny, but it is more widely known as Any Bonds Today? It was neither considered a Looney Tunes nor Merrie Melodies cartoon and was not part of the Bugs Bunny series (but a spin-off)...

I've always thought that I was up on my cold war propaganda. Someone asked ever hear of Roger Ramjet cartoons? I began a search of all the networks on the internet and in second hand stores to find two examples of these gems. They are very rare. I've heard that only about five of them was made. I found this gem on a peer-2-peer network. It seems to be in good shape.

The Spirit of '43 - Walt Disney
Fell in the public domain because it was made for the American government and all films made for or by the government of the U.S.A. are in the public domain. From IMDB: Donald Duck deals with income taxes and their benefit to the American war effort in this inspirational documentary short animated film.

Hitler's Children - Disney Studios
This is a banned Propaganda cartoon from World War II. This is part of my collection of banned and censored cartoons. When a group of people work to ban a certain media then part of their heritage is lost as a result. Many types of media I do not agree with, but I do not complain to have it banned. Remember the Soviet Union. They had to basically relearn their own history by going back to books written before the revolution...
